After having chickens for a number of years, we’ve made a choice to let them go and live at a sanctuary farm. We are cooking at home almost exclusively vegan these days, and the eggs just pile up and up. Our hens are older and not laying as consistently as when young, but they are still laying and they are beautiful wonderful beings who deserve to live the rest of their life in a sanctuary space.

Therefor, we now have a chicken coop to give away.  It was given to us, and we are happy to pass it along.

The coop is 3’ x 18’ and has a really great run, coop and laying box. It is really heavy.  When it came to our house, it arrived on a boat trailer and two big guys carried it from the street into the yard. So, it can be moved, but it isn’t light. I think it can be dismantled into two or three sections. If you want it, you have to supply the muscle to move it out of the yard to however you are going to carry it away.

I’d like to take a few days and clean it out well, and will post it to Craigslist when I’d done, but wanted to give anyone in the neighborhood a chance for it first.
