Thank you to the organizers and performers of the Sunday night Highland Park porch concerts. It gives us a chance to do something nice during these difficult times.

I would like to make a request, however. Despite the statement on the concert listing to remind people to wear masks and stay 6 feet apart, we saw about 25% of the people at the first concert NOT wearing masks. I am sure that number is way more than the few with medical conditions that allow them an exception. And people were not being meticulous about the 6 feet distance.

PLEASE PLEASE be considerate of your neighbors, especially the more vulnerable ones, and WEAR A MASK! Highland Park has had 72 cases and it increases a little every week or so.

Your mask protects me and my mask protects you. I wear one. Please return the favor.
