Hello Neighbors,

First I would like to thank everyone who responded to my initial email regarding Jackson’s broken leg. Thank you so very much to those who have donated as well as gave me advice regarding the surgery, local vets, puppy care, etc.  This information has been invaluable!

After all of the information received, I made the decision to take Jackson to Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (PVSEC) on Camp Horne Road for surgery (1/9/16).  The surgery went well and Jackson has been home approaching three weeks.  He has progressed from having a cast to not having one (Picture below was taken the week of 1/25/16). We are all so happy at how quickly he has recovered.  However, help is still needed to pay for the cost of the surgery.

All of this information is also posted on the Go Fund Me account. So far, $910 has been raised through Go Fund Me and Jackson has also received $250 directly to his account at PVSEC (Surgery total: $2,498.00). Donations are still needed. Please forward this email to anyone who is willing to help.

For those who do not fully trust GoFundMe, direct donations can also be made directly to PVSEC by contacting directly Jay Schmidt, Customer Service Director at PVSEC (Phone number: 412-348-6508).

Thanks so much!
