This happened to us on Heberton awhile back too. My neighbor witnessed it happening so she clicked her car door remote & it caused the guy to move along.

Definitely keep your eyes open & call the police if you see something, but something as simple as keeping porch lights on at night helps eliminate the cover to do this unnoticed.

Make sure you file a report to alert the police.  I don't know what
good it does, but it is better than nothing.
