Dear neighbors, This past year, I've had the opportunity to be part of a small team that's created an engaging and eye-opening documentary film about math education. *The Biggest Story Problem *examines the wide range of issues and challenges facing us in middle school math class – while striving to offer a message of hope and change, not doom and gloom. I'm personally hosting a preview screening of this film next week on Monday, Oct. 1, at The Alloy Studios (former Dance Alloy studio space) on Penn Avenue at 6 pm.
