Pittsburgh Area Youth (ages 5-25), their families and friends are invited to attend this special inaugural annual event featuring a great line up of activities including a group youth service project, a live youth band, a community service fair, TEDx Youth Pittsburgh presentations, screening of Students In Action videos, prizes, a Social Media booth, and some awesome judges including a representative from the Pittsburgh Pirates and possibly even the Pittsburgh Steelers!
Be a part of the action for exciting youth presentations and judging to determine the Pittsburgh Regional Students In Action Outstanding High School Youth Service Team that will go to Washington, D.C. for the prestigious Jefferson Awards Foundation National Ceremonies (check out www.jeffersonawards.org)!
This is going to be an exciting fun-packed day of youth voices and recognition as we celebrate youth-led community service in Southwestern Pennsylvania! At this year's celebration, we will also be encouraging activation of three areas of care for the upcoming year: Health & Wellness, Literacy & Education, and Hunger & Poverty.
