— APPLICATIONS OPEN — The first application round for the COVID-19 Relief Pennsylvania Statewide Small Business Assistance program is now open! Eligible small businesses can apply online. Grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 available to small businesses economically impacted by COVID-19. This is not a first come, first served program. There will be several rounds of funding. Businesses can continue to apply after the first window closes on July 14 and they will be considered for future rounds of funding, dates for which will be shared soon. To be eligible to apply for grant funds, businesses must be physically located, certified to do business, and generate at least 51% of their revenues in Pennsylvania; have annual revenue of $1 million or less prior to the impact of COVID-19; and have 25 or fewer full-time equivalent employees prior to February 15, 2020. The program is part of $225 million in statewide relief funds announced by Governor Tom Wolf early this month to support small businesses that were impacted by the COVID-19 public health crisis and subsequent business closure order.
