KitchenAid mixer with burned out - fix / give away?

Hi - My KitchenAid is only about 10 years old. We overloaded it with dough once; it never worked consistently afterward, and now doesn't turn on at all. I'm hoping to find either someone / somewhere that fixes them; or if I can't find someone to fix it, see if there's someone who'd want it for themselves to try and fix it. Please let me know if you have repair leads or would be interested in it if I can't get it fixed. Thanks! Stephanie
