[Highland Park] Camera repair?

Can anyone recommend a place to fix my digital camera? I dropped it and the door on the battery compartment cracked. I took it to a place downtown and they quoted me a ridiculous amount, and now they are giving me the run-around, so I am not going to use them. If anyone knows a trustworthy place that won't overcharge me, please let me know. Thank you.
