The Lawrenceville Gourmet Spaghetti Dinner, sponsored by Lawrenceville United, is set for Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Teamster Temple in Lawrenceville. This annual fund-raising event will benefit the Bernard Dog Run, a community initiative to build an off-leash dog park for the residents of Lawrenceville.
Supported by Lawrenceville United and the City of Pittsburgh, the Bernard Dog Run’s final steps toward opening include raising funds to cover necessary site construction and maintenance.
The 2012 spaghetti dinner will be held at the Teamster Temple, 4701 Butler Street, from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and the evening will include entertainment, raffles and Italian music. Proceeds from the event will also benefit local nonprofit animal resource center, Animal Friends.
Advanced tickets are available at Espresso a Mano, Gallery on 43rd Street, Lawrenceville United and online for $11 per person. Tickets bought at the door will be $13 per person, and children under the age of 10 eat free.
Volunteers and donations are needed to help support the revival of this annual spaghetti dinner fund-raiser.
