Good morning, Zone 5 neighbors!

Attached you will find your Community Crime Update for the week of December 12th - 18th.

Our officers were able to make a number of arrests this week for violent crimes and our detectives were able to apprehend a juvenile who is believed to be responsible for a number of recent street robberies in the Zone. We did have one shooting this week but an arrest was made quickly and it was learned that the shooting was believed to be accidental (two friends playing with a gun). 

Additionally, our officers attended a number of community events this week, including "Coffee with the Commander" at the new Everyday Cafe coffee house on N. Homewood Avenue and a holiday meet & greet which we hosted here at the police station on Saturday.
