A few weeks ago I had asked for recommendations for Masons/Concrete Contractors.  Thanks to all for your replies and thoughts.  After looking at different concrete jobs around the neighborhood, we felt that DiBucci’s work looked the best.  Every job of his that we saw was flawless.  Puccurelli (sp?) was another contractor whose work we saw that looked particularly good, although we didn’t get any recommendations for him.  I had used him many years ago to build a wall and was quite happy with his work. Yes, I had two chimneys torn down and rebuilt by Anderson's Chimney and Masonry specialist. I initially thought that they only did chimney repairs and cleanings. To my surprise Mr. Anderson was very knowledgeable in masonry repairs and restorations. Mr. Anderson came over with three other workers and built scaffolding, torn down two chimneys which are approximately 40 feet off the ground. They rebuilt both chimneys in 5 days. They were very professional, neat and clean. We recently had concrete work done by Cunic construction (Sal-owner) We got LOTS of estimates and referrals (several outrageous- paying for the name!) and found them to be reasonably priced and good work. You can stop to check ours out although it has not been sealed as of yet- must cure for 2wks.-our top steps , portico base and front step under the french doors were done. His #is 412-537-9051
