Exciting opportunity to assist a young woman who has Asperger’s Syndrome attain her goals and enjoy her preferred activities. Near Lawrenceville, plenty of parking and near the bus line.

This position offers flexible part-time hours, approximately 15 - 20 hours per week. We are searching for the right person to help this young woman achieve her goals of independence, making friends, and being a vibrant part of her community.

This is a 1:1 position with a young woman who has varied interests and good skills.

Our Ideal Candidate Would:

· Have TSS or PCA experience

* Enjoy teaching and learning new skills.

· Be creative, kind and encouraging

· Be interested in learning new skills

· Be reliable and consistent 

· Know the area and help with volunteer and recreational opportunities

· Think outside the box and do some creative problem-solving

You must, at a MINIMUM, have:

· A High School Diploma or a GED

· 1-year of Support Staff or similar experience

· Be comfortable working in an environment where dogs and cats are present

· A valid driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation AND

· A willingness to go through background checks and obtain your clearances.

Pay starts at $17 an hour, ** $1 per hour raise after 60 days on the job
