Hello neighbors,

The Highland Park/E Liberty bike/ped committee meeting is tonight at 7:00. RSVP for HP address.

A few people replied to my earlier email, asking for help with specific street safety issues. We are a grassroots advocacy group, made up of residents just like you. If you want to help make positive infrastructure change in our neighborhood, come to tonight's meeting to find out how! If you can't make it, get on the email list by writing to:
 hp-el-bike-ped-committee@googlegroups.com
You'll find out about meetings, initiatives, etc.

Neighborhood bike/pedestrian committees are run independently, and are supported and loosely organized by BikePGH.  Here is some more information on bike/ped committees.

Hello Frank & HP neighbors,
The Highland Park/E Liberty bike/ped committee will be meeting at my house on August 23 at 7:00 pm. This group works together to make sidewalks and streets safer & more accessible for all in our neighborhoods. We do this through grassroots action and advocacy with our elected officials. If you are interested or just curious about this group, please join us. This gathering will be primarily social, with some preliminary discussion about fall activities.
Reply to me for the address.

How do we on the Jackson Street straightaway petition the City for a speed bump?  Some fools don’t seem to care that there are kids, pets, handicapped, old, and a great cross-section of folk here.
Not looking for trouble; just a  concerned taxpayer.
