The Highland Park/E Liberty bike/ped committee will be meeting at my house on August 23 at 7:00 pm. This group works together to make sidewalks and streets safer & more accessible for all in our neighborhoods. We do this through grassroots action and advocacy with our elected officials. If you are interested or just curious about this group, please join us. This gathering will be primarily social, with some preliminary discussion about fall activities.

How do we on the Jackson Street straightaway petition the City for a speed bump? Some fools don’t seem to care that there are kids, pets, handicapped, old, and a great cross-section of folk here.
Not looking for trouble; just a concerned taxpayer.
