dear neighbors: 

ever since last summer, after the George Floyd protests,

and since the Stop the Station actions launched in east liberty,

there have been near-constant police sirens and siren "bubbling," all day and night,

in our neighborhood, to the point where we have to keep our windows shut,

for example last night, a warm spring night, my husband and i couldn't

hear each other in the same room with the window open.

there are near-constant helicopters over the neighborhoods, too.

my kid voices uneasiness about all this. we are having a really hard time with it.

it's to the point where i wish we could move away from the neighborhood.

i'm just putting this note here because i don't know what else to do besides say something.
