Kentucky Avenue School is a small, independent school for Kindergarten through Eighth grades, located on Kentucky Avenue at Negley in Shadyside.
Our talented, dedicated faculty helps each
child realize his or her innate potential for intellectual and personal growth. Kentucky Avenue School is committed to honoring differences in learning style while promoting excellence. We have a creative and dynamic curriculum that responds to the needs of our students while inspiring them to attain new levels of mastery and understanding.
At Kentucky Avenue, our students experience the joy of learning. Our goal is to both nurture and challenge every student.
Kentucky Avenue Children’s Center has programs for children from age 2 through Pre-kindergarten. Its small, engaging program allows children to play and learn in a warm, homey environment.

Both schools are on the ground
floor of the Third Presbyterian Church, located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Negley Avenue (5701 Fifth Avenue). The entrance to the school is on Kentucky Avenue. We look forward to seeing you there.
