Since folks on the list periodically ask for a contractor recommendation I would like to recommend Bill Perkins.  He gutted and completely renovated two bedrooms in our house last summer.  He is one of the most reliable and hardworking people I know. No one surpasses him in skill or integrity.  He is also a committed environmentalist and a pleasure to be around.  Major renovation projects are stressful but Bill eased our anxiety by communicating exactly what was happening every step of the way.
