I found the email below disturbing so I checked with the Zone 5 police to make sure they were aware of the issue. To my surprise, they were not.
They searched for any reports of such behavior (Indecent Exposure, Open Lewdness) going back to January 1 of this year and did not find any incidents in Highland Park.
Officers will be on the lookout for this person, but they will need a victim to come forward in case they do identify him.
A report can still be filed if anyone is willing to come forward.
Remember - it is imperative that anyone victimized calls 911 immediately. It is the only way the police can be made aware of the problem.

Recently a middle aged African American male has been driving around the neighborhood (Bryant off of Farragut) in a white sedan, stopping next to women as if to ask for directions and performing sexual acts upon himself. I hope this doesn't become a recurring thing, but please be safe everyone and don't approach this car.
