When it rains, our sewers are overwhelmed and sewage overflows into our rivers and streams instead of going directly to our treatment facilities. As water management issues come to the forefront of discussion in our region, we are required to take steps towards fixing our sewer system and protecting our rivers.
Join the Pittsburgh Green House for an informational session as members of the
Clean Rivers Campaign discuss our aging sewer system and the role green infrastructure can play in solving Allegheny County's stormwater management issues.
