Last fall & winter, the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy conducted a City-wide listening tour to talk about capital & maintenance backlogs at City parks and to collect input from residents on the development of their strategic plan (including presenting at an HPCC Community meeting).  The proposed tax increase would fund the investments that were discussed. They are currently collecting signatures to get the initiative on the ballot this fall.
