Please be advised that the above-ground pump station across from the Parklane Apartments at the Highland 2 Reservoir will be running 24 hours per day until further notice. With dropping temperatures expected, this will ensure that the pumps do not freeze.

There is a concern that if they turn them off, they will not be able to turn them back on when they are necessary to maintain pressure throughout the distribution system.

They also anticipate that they will need to maintain pressure due to customers letting faucets drip during low temperatures as well as increased water main breaks.
