Hey neighbors,
Thought I would pass along two fun music-related events happening this weekend on the East End:
PGH Vinyl Con (PVC) at Pittsburgh Filmmakers
Saturday, April 28th 2012; 12-8 PM, $3 admission, ALL AGES
477 Melwood Ave. (Oakland), Pittsburgh, PA 15213
Embrace the wide world of great music --- especially music on vinyl ---
with an afternoon and evening of live performances, music videos
screened on loops and plenty of fun.
Traveling record dealers will be vending throughout the event.
Admission is just $3 to this all-ages event. Call Mind Cure Records at (412) 621-1715 for more information or visit https://www.facebook.com/pghvinylcon.
TITLE TOWN Soul & Funk Party
Saturday, April 28th
Shadow Lounge
5972 Baum Blvd. (E. Liberty)
9 PM-2 AM, 21+/$5; 18+/$8
It’s that one of the night of month where vinyl has never really gone a
way, it’s that party on the East End of town where everything is
classic, yet the sounds are as fresh and original as anything coming out
today.
Title Town is the one night of the month where we shake
up the Shadow Lounge with five hours of high-octane, straight-ahead,
old school soul and funk grooves.

Gordy
