Your local primary care doc here. Since being on the news about giving COVID vaccines to homebound patients, I’ve gotten a lot of inquiries around the city for people who need this service. As myself and my nurse can’t get to all of these people alone, I wanted to call to action to see if any of you in the neighborhood are 1) able to give vaccines per your license in the state (i.e. healthcare provider) 2) interested in helping a vulnerable population by volunteering your time to help out.
If these criteria apply to you, please email nurse@gentilefamilydpc.com so we can start sorting out how to help our community. I will reimburse your mileage for these visits.
