Apparently tonight there was a woman falsely soliciting donations to Dilworth Traditional Academy for Arts and Humanities during trick-or-treating hours. When neighborhood parents who have children at Dilworth found out, they called the police but there was little that could be done (actually, we've always been told to report false solicitations like this to the police but I suppose on Halloween its difficult to find the person among the trick-or-treaters). If anyone has any information about this woman, or has any more detail besides a basic descripition, please email me and we will pass the infomation along to the police. As community members and parents, we do look for neighborhood help throughout the year, but we will never come door-to-door asking for cash donations like that. (Actually, we are having a pies, cheesecake, and cookie dough fundraiser now, if anyone is interested, and we will take your General Mills boxtops!! ;) ) thanks for your continued support, Liz Buchanan Jackson Street Dilworth Parent and co-chair, Dilworth Association of Parents, School and Community (APSC) jacknliz@yahoo.com --------------------------------- Access over 1 million songs - Yahoo!
