By acting aggressively, Pennsylvania as a state has been able to slow community spread.  This Friday (May 15), Allegheny County will move from red to yellow zone status in terms of Covid-19 safety restrictions.  The biggest changes will be that the stay at home order will be lifted, some businesses will be able to reopen (limitations and restrictions apply), and smaller gatherings (less than 25 people) will be allowed (see table below for details).  Please continue to take basic safety precautions such as washing your hands frequently, staying home if you have any symptoms, avoiding close contact with people outside your home, and wearing masks when social distancing is difficult to do (such as inside stores).

For the time being, the HPCC will continue to hold its meetings via Zoom and will only plan events that allow for social distancing. Also, don't forget that the HPCC continues to post a resource list on our website - hpccpgh.com - and to connect neighbors in need with those who can help via our Facebook page, Highland Park Helping Hands (Coronavirus Response).
