Choosing Family
Changing House
For
15 years, a communal living space in Brooklyn provided shelter for
transgender women including Stonewall legend, Sylvia Rivera. As the home
grew, its capacity was challenged and eventually “Ma” Sylvia passed.
This documentary honors the loving family which grew from perseverance
and the will to fight.
