My husband's and my favorite thing is to walk the
reservoir and the flower beds. We have taken tons of lovely
pictures. What would make it even more special for us would be to be able
to recognize what the flowers are. Of course, some are obvious, like the
tulips or the sunflowers.
But how great would it be to add some pages to
the Highland Park website identifying all that grow there each season and when
to expect them? I envision spring, summer, and fall flower pages with
pictures and descriptions- names and the order in which they appear.
I know a very few are labelled, and I ran into the
conservancy people one evening who identified a few. I'd be more than
happy to donate my pictures. Perhaps the conservancy people could help, or
other neighbors could volunteer to help set this up.
Any interest from the
neighborhood?
