Since Heberton was paved, cars daily exceed 50 mph up the hill. 

Heberton hill has also become a motorcycle race strip. 

Dear friends, especially friends living up the hill near the Farmhouse, please try to keep the 25 speed limit. Heberton hill has little kids, tons of dog walkers, joggers, school bus stops, camp bus stops. It is NOT safe, and it's terrifying, to open your car door parked on Heberton and have a car or truck buzz your body at 50mph.

The city responded after our concern last year and put in new 25mph & Children at Play signs. But they are NOT visible. This photo shows how they are hidden behind trees.
