*Youth Clay Camp* *5 days, Monday, August 13 **- Friday, August 17**, 2018* *1:00 pm - 4:00 pm* *Cost: $150/child (8-12 years old)* During this five day camp, youth will develop hand-building and wheel-throwing skills in Union Project's welcoming, community studio space. This camp is designed for all experience levels, and instruction will begin with the basics: pinch and slab construction, centering, throwing small cylinders, trimming, and glazing techniques. By creating ceramic artwork every day during camp, campers will be encouraged to develop self-confidence and excitement through their progress, invest in relationships with peers and neighbors, and take home their handmade pots at the end. It will be great fun! This camp runs from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
