Whether your son or daughter has been drawing since birth or just become interested in the arts, this program offers differentiated and one-on-one instruction to help your child set and achieve their artistic goals, while also exposing them to new techniques and artists that can inspire.

Classes are designed for students ages 11-18 who have a passion for the arts. Depending on your child's schedule classes can be attended daily, weekly, or monthly.  Class meets Monday through Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  We just ask that you sign up for the classes you will be able to attend one month in advance.

Mondays and Tuesdays will be based on two- dimensional work using drawing, painting, and printmaking techniques

Wednesdays and Thursdays will be based on three-dimensional work using, ceramic, mosaic, and sculpture techniques to create a variety of artwork.

Projects vary each night depending on the students individual interests.

Ceramics-This class is a beginner level ceramic series that will use hand building techniques to create functional pieces that you can use and enjoy in your own house. Each month we will be learning a particular method of hand building and create pieces using that technique. We will also take a look at a variety of techniques to create intricacies all your own!

Mosaics-This class will concentrate on the basics of mosaic design. We will create our own hand built and painted ceramic tiles to create a mosaic that is 100% unique to each student. Students are encouraged to bring in items that they have always wanted to mosaic. Some great examples are mirrors, picture frames, and table tops, the list goes on.....

Painting On Pottery- think of blank ceramics as your canvas and join us as we learn how to translate painting techniques using ceramic glaze. We will be creating beautiful paintings that can be enjoyed as wall art, or a functional piece is your home.
