And, I'm very happy to share the happy ending!

She has been reunited; her dad just picked her up! In the meantime today, she lived amongst my dogs and pig in her safe haven corner "coop" in my living room (a large dog crate with extra gate boundary set up around it). My cat quickly proved to have a one track mind, so he was exiled to the bedroom during her stay :-)
