Last call to compost!

The Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) will hold its final Backyard Composting Workshop of 2011 on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Shaler North Hills Library from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Learn how to turn your leaves, grass clippings and food scraps into a valuable resource for your spring garden. This workshop thoroughly covers how to set up a compost pile, proper maintenance and ways of using the finished compost. Participants will receive an 80 gallon Earth Machine compost bin with attendance. (One compost bin per registration).
