NOTE: The LCD screens seem to have a slight pressure mark from the eraser tracking ball (TrackPoint III), and the background colors may look lighter/brighter in some areas, but these things are barely noticeable when at the desktop, and do not affect the icons, lettering, etc., which look great.

 

  • ALL Laptops have been tested using the IBM Easy-Setup Test and everything "passes".
  • Unless otherwise noted, all laptops have a parallel port for printers, stereo sound and built in microphone, Infrared port, PS/2 port for external mouse or keyboard, two PCMCIA slots for all kinds of add-ons.  
  • The IBM ThinkPad 380ED laptops do NOT have a USB port, or a internal modem to connect to the Internet; add a 3COM 56K PCMCIA Modem Card for $15, if purchased with the laptop.
  • If something is NOT listed, it is NOT included (example: Operating System, Office/Word program, CD-ROM, floppy drive, AC adapter, etc.).
  • Since the laptops are used, expect some scratches, stickers or sticker residue, and other signs of wear which are cosmetic and DO NOT affect functionality.
