Join Union Project's ceramics co-op for a collaborative community event, Glaze for Good. It's FREE and open to the public.
Attendees are invited to paint bowls made by our very own co-op members for the 25th annual Empty Bowls event in March. Come join us on Sunday, February 23, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm in Union Project’s studio to connect, get creative, and learn about how these bowls will contribute to our greater Pittsburgh community! No previous ceramics or art experience required.
Amanda Fry, a representative from Just Harvest, will be present to talk briefly about the main Empty Bowls event happening March 15th.
About Empty Bowls
The annual Empty Bowls dinner in Pittsburgh serves up a meal of soup and bread as a reminder that too many people throughout our region are facing hunger. This year’s 25th Anniversary event will feature artisan pottery for guests to take home, soups from restaurants across the City of Pittsburgh, and an auction featuring local artwork.
The fundraiser benefits Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Just Harvest and will take place at Rodef Shalom Congregation, 4905 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA
