Dear neighbors, I'm excited to invite you to my exhibition entitled *Another Light: Making Space for Healing, *April 5 - 28, 2025 at Union Project, 801 N. Negley Avenue. Pittsburgh, PA 15206. *Here's a little trailer...* *When everything we thought we could count on shifts;* *When everything around us falls apart;* *When the unexpected happens, and we find ourselves uncomfortable, and in the unknown...* *How do we find our way?* Another Light: Making Space for Healing explores these questions and more through twelve remarkable stories about people different in age, race, and background. Using the art of painting, storytelling, poetry, memory, performance, and ritual, viewers witness intense, heartbreaking, and joyful journeys that shape us, transform us, heal us, and bring us into a deeper sense of relationship with ourselves and others. The exhibit includes twelve large scale portraits, written descriptions, and audio of participant voices reflecting on their paintings and their journeys.
