Neighbors -
I've recently become director of the Continuing Education department at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary - just down the street - and I'm starting to learn that lots of folks in the area have no idea what kinds of great offerings are available to the community!  I hope to turn the office into a more effective educational gateway between the wonderful resources here and the curious & inquisitive out there.

As the craziness of the holiday season ramps up (peace?  joy?  Where?), I wanted to let you know about a wonderful week-long immersion class coming up in January - perfectly timed for that post-holiday, hunker-down time.  If you have time, and if you have any interest in early Christian spirituality and monasticism, you might want to consider this:

Bonnie Thurston is a total gem and the class is a beloved fixture in our spiritual formation program.

Questions?  Suggestions for things that would make you visit us at the seminary?  E-me at my work address:  hblier@pts.edu .  And watch this space for more interesting offerings!

Gratefully,
Helen
