Our neighborhood historian Mike Eversmeyer has just published a great new book, "Pittsburgh 1900-1945," issued by Arcadia Publishing. It has many great photos of the old days in the East End, and is an excellent companion to the 2008 book "Pittsburgh's East Liberty Valley," written by members of the East End/East Liberty Historical Society and published by Arcadia.
