[Highland Park] Help! Snowboard recommendations needed!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I am in super need of some direction concerning snowboards for kids. My boys have seen some younger kids using snowboards at the King Estate and they want to ask Santa for them. However, I don't know a thing about snowboards! Seems like the kids at the King Estate had a beginner type *ie: don't need board boots. If you have younger snowboarders at home - please help me! What kind to get, what works for your kids & where to buy. I would be soooo appreciative! Nicole Burtch
