March 2 Metro-Urban Institute's Urban Leadership Series: Why We Need Smart Justice with Terrell Thomas, ACLU. We will learn about the Campaign for Smart Justice's efforts to reduce the jail and prison population by 50% while combatting racial disparities in the criminal justice system. 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

March 5 People Before Issues: Engagement with LGBTQ Members of Your Community with Justin Lee and Ray Low. The American church has been repeatedly divided by the issue of sexual orientation and gender identity, and many people and their loved ones have left their faith at the wayside because of this division. How might the situation be different if we put the care of people before us first? Can we still find a way to common concern and commitment across division? 7:00-9:00 p.m.

March 12 Albright-Deering Lecture “Just Like Me: The Era of ‘Likeness’ in a Global World Full of Difference” with Amy R. Valdez Barker. How do we trust one another when we have so many differences? Join us for the lecture at 10:00 a.m., followed by 11:30 a.m. worship, where the Rev. Dr. Valdez Barker will speak on "The Divine Likeness"  Scripture: Ephesians 4:1-14.
