Dear Highland Park residents,

I've created a group on Facebook called "Highland Park Area Online Yard Sale (Pittsburgh, PA)". It is modeled, with permission, after an existing and thriving group in Fox Chapel (theirs is called Fox Chapel Area Online Yard Sale). 

Please consider joining the Highland Park group if you are a FB user and to add as many friends as you like to the site so that we can reach a nice volume more quickly. The idea is to have a ongoing, picture-friendly online yard sale in addition to supplement the selling that already takes place on our list serv.

This group is for items being bought/sold/exchanged IN Highland Park only. Residents of the area are encouraged to join, as are other people who are willing to travel to the Highland Park to pick up or sell their items. Non-residents do not generally subscribe to our list serv.  So this is a way to reach a wider audience.  

You can begin posting items at any time after you join but please read the rules before doing so.

If you are interested in helping as an administrator for monitoring the site, please let me know.  No administrator makes any money from this.  The site has been established purely as a community service.
