It seems to me that negative experiences a person might have with a small business owner should best be relayed person to person rather than broadcast across the entire listerv.

There have been a rash of postings recently with negative experiences people have had with contractors.  As we all know there are two sides to every story.  I dont think that tainting someones reputation in a public forum is an appropriate use of this listserv.  This is one neighbors opinion.

It seems to me that a preferable way to express a negative experience or a warning would be a private email to the person seeking recommendations.
