Yes, this is again another collection, just after one we did a week ago !!! This one is focused on Non-perishable foods, as the Food Pantry is really in short supply. The last drive was focused on NRP’s Trauma Response Efforts, and we had a good response for that, but lacked getting the regular Food Items. This collection will be focused on that, so if you can find it in your hearts to help out, we will be making another collection next week on Wednesday, 07 JUN 23, starting at 9:00 AM. Just email us your actual address to: mike@divehards.com, to let us know what to expect to pick up (as well as, what not to take off your porches !!!), and we will get back to you.

Dear Neighbors,

It has been a couple of months since our last collection, as we picked up the much needed items from many of our neighbors, and delivered them to NRP, where they were gratefully appreciated !!! We are again letting our neighborhood know that we, Mike and Brigette Nadler, will be driving the neighborhood picking up for the monthly NRP (Formally FOCUS) Collection this coming Wednesday, 24 MAY 23. We will be around the neighborhood starting at 9:00 AM that morning, and we are actually passing along their request for specific items below, in addition to the regular non-perishable food to restock their pantry, as their stock is very low, as well as useable Clothing that is clean and sorted.

"Trauma teddies are essential to our trauma response efforts. Firstly, giving children a comfort item such as a teddy bear is a great way to make them feel safe enough to open up and engage with us. Trauma teddies also help us to reach parents and adults who otherwise may be reluctant to open up about their experience. Seeing a child smiling and playing with a trauma teddy given by our team makes them more likely to trust us and engage in conversation or accept a referral for further support."

New or gently used teddy bears (small to medium sized)
Cases of smaller water bottles
Juice Boxes (apple or orange)
Capri Sun or other coolaid pouches
Keurig K-Cups
Ground coffee
Coffee filters
Easy Mac - single serving packs of mac & cheese
Ramen noodles (beef, chicken, shrimp)

Canned soup (ideally pop-top - but can be can-opener style)
