I'm a reporter for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review who covers technology, higher education and science. Before moving to Pittsburgh three and a half years ago, I lived in many cities as a journalist, including: Phoenix; Salt Lake City; Bend, Ore.; New York; and Lima, Peru.

I'm a non-smoker and an active person who likes to run, bike, swim and hike. I keep a clean house and have two medium-sized mixed-breed dogs -- Sofia, 9, and Atticus, 7. Both love people and other animals, including cats.
