The Pennsylvania Resources Council and
partners will sponsor the final Hard
to Recycle Collection event of the year
this Saturday,
September 17, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 2
p.m. at The Galleria at
Pittsburgh Mills. Materials collected free: Televisions, computer monitors,
laptops, CPU towers, mice, keyboards, cell phones, ink and
toner cartridges, CFLs office paper, newspapers,
magazines,
junk mail. Many
items collected for reuse at no cost.
Tires, batteries and Misc. e-waste

A Household Chemical
Collection will take place Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m. at the South Park Wave
Pool parking lot. Fee: $2.00 per gallon. Acceptable
items include: paint and paint
products, chemistry sets, household
cleaners, automotive
