I found this social networking site called Nextdoor, which is sort of a mashup of Facebook and geo-local social networking -of the face to face variety. I know this listserve is a great connector for folks in the East End (and beyond; hi Aspinwall, etc.!) and don't want to suggest it should supplant it. But I thought I'd throw it out there to see if there's any interest in a social networking site set up for our neighborhood/s. I've already got it started, but others are needed. Could be cool, but if you think "'meh', just something else to monitor," I get that too.
If you're so interested you'd like to jump right in on the welcome page, I called the neighborhood "East End" (found once you enter your address/info to check for availabilty) to encompass a broader range of folks.
Y'all have any thoughts?
