Please mark your calendar for dates to drop off a wide variety of materials – ranging from televisions and computers to household chemicals and prescription drugs – at upcoming collections sponsored by the Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) and partners.

 

 

Household Chemical Collection – Saturday, September 15, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Park Wave Pool parking lot.

Fee: $2 per gallon.

Individuals can drop off automotive fluids, household cleaners, pesticides, paints and paint products and other household chemicals for a cost of $2/gallon.

E-Waste CollectionSaturday, September 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills.

Individuals can drop off “e-waste” (computers and televisions), cell phones, ink & toner cartridges and CFLs at no cost; nominal fee for batteries.

DEA National Drug Take Back Day -  Saturday, September 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at locations throughout the region and nationwide.

Individuals can drop off unwanted and expired prescription and over-the-counter medications at NO COST during U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s nationwide Drug Take Back Day.
