On the list serv there have been several posts recently about potted plants being stolen from front yards and porches.   I just wanted to encourage anyone who experiences a theft to report it to the police.  If they see an increase in thefts and/or a cluster of thefts, they will respond accordingly with more patrols and better informed investigations.  Suspicious activity should also be reported to police.  Additionally, it can be helpful to let the neighborhood know through the list serv and Nextdoor so that people know what's going on.
