[Highland Park] wounded cat in need of help

Dear All, While taking a morning walk around the reservoir today (Wed. 7/18) I came upon a cat with a seriously injured paw and tail. I (and another kind woman) desperately tried to catch the cat and take it to a vet for care, but the animal ran away. I do think that the cat can be treated (antibiotics?), but the care would probably have to come soon. It is an older brownish tabby cat. (I believe it is a cat that many feed up at the reservoir.) I just wanted to alert the members on the list in case someone sees the cat and can help. Susan Corbesero 5524 Wellesley ave.
