City of Pittsburgh Offices and CitiParks Facilities Closed with Refuse Collection Postponed for Memorial DayCity of Pittsburgh Offices and CitiParks Facilities Closed with Refuse Collection Postponed for Memorial Day PITTSBURGH — All City of Pittsburgh offices and CitiParks facilities will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 30. In addition, the Department of Public Works advises that refuse and recycling collection will be delayed one day. Individuals who have a scheduled collection on Monday will be serviced on Tuesday, May 31st. Those usually serviced Tuesday will be serviced Wednesday, and so on throughout the week. Normal Friday servicing will take place on Saturday, June 4. Residents are encouraged to place their refuse out for collection after 6:00 p.m. the night before their collection day as normal. Those with questions concerning collection may contact the Bureau of Environmental Services at 412-255-2773.
