PTS Rainbow Covenant and Women’s Caucus have joined to host this day-long event to view the films and to have discussions about the pressure that society has placed on people to live within their gender stereotypes.

The media is selling the idea that girls’ and women’s value lies in their youth, beauty, and sexuality and not in their capacity as leaders. Boys learn that their success is tied to dominance, power, and aggression. We must value people as whole human beings, not gendered stereotypes.

Boys and young men struggle to stay true to themselves while negotiating America's narrow definition of masculinity.
